5 Reasons You Need to Batch Content

Est Read Time: 4.5 Minutes

When I first started my business with one client, my processes were a mess!

Working with one client had me almost at max capacity for what I could do for work with a newborn baby. It’s a little embarrassing to admit, to be honest.

I was spending far too long writing content on the fly and then posting it as I went. I had nothing planned out and was trying to do too many things at once. To say that I was stressed the heck out is probably a bit of an understatement.

But I’ll bet you know exactly how I feel! You’re probably in that place right now…

If you are, you’ve probably been asking yourself, “HOW CAN I MAKE THIS EASIER?!”

Well, let me tell you!

BATCH YOUR CONTENT.

Seriously, it’s that simple.

Well, first it’s best if you at least outline a content calendar for the month so you have a plan for what you want to create.

[And you know what?! I’m going to share our Content Calendar template with only our email list! To download CLICK HERE]

(^Legit, this is the template I use for mine and client’s content planning!)

Then schedule out 2 to 4 hours bi-weekly or monthly to write some content and schedule it.

Trust me, you don’t need to be writing out posts for every single day —I don’t even do that for Razzle! The key is to show up consistently. I find a good sweet spot is 3 or 4 posts a week. That way you can have one at the start, middle, and end of the week!

Alright, so let me delve into why you need to be batching content.

5 Reasons To Batch Your Content

#1 It Saves You Time

Yes, it is going to take a good few hours to write and schedule your content but in the long run, it will save you hours of work.

You will no longer have to think, “Ah shoot! I forgot to do a post today!” If you batch your content you’re going to be going to sleep easy at night knowing it’s scheduled and will be posting on its own.

All you have to do is check-in with your community and engage with them.

#2 Less Stress

Since you won’t have to be running around like a chicken with its head chopped off, you’ll find you’re so much less stressed! And that’s what we all want, eh?

When you know that it’s taken care of, you recognize there’s no reason to stress out!

Still not convinced it’s for you? Then let’s continue into the next reason then.

#3 It Allows you to Be More Intentional With Your Content

What do I mean by this? Well, you will no longer be creating content on the fly just to fill in space.

You’ll make a plan with your content calendar and start creating content that is meant to resonate with your audience and encourage engagement. Your content will be focused on quality and not quantity.

Which leads me to point #4!

#4 It Gives You Consistency

Like I said before, you do not need to show up every single day to build up your community. Of course, it helps and if you can you should, but it’s not necessary. And not to mention, every single business’s audience is going to be different.

That’s why you want to know who you serve so you can create consistent, quality content that resonates with them.

Aim to get three to four posts a week that either educates, informs, or entertains! Test out each one and see what your audience loves.

#5 It Allows You to be More Present

For me, this is the most important reason to be batching content. As someone who works from home with a toddler, it means more to me to be able to be here and spend time with my daughter than spending all day every day working.

Batching content allows you to be present in your business, when you are online to engage with your community, and at home with your family.

When you’re not stressing or worrying about getting stuff done, you find a new sense of freedom and relief.

Trust me, batching content is in your best interest!

But hey, if you are looking for someone who will take content creation right off your plate, then you should reach out and we can talk about what we can do for you!

I hope that you’re feeling inspired and excited at the potentials that batching your content brings.

As always, I wish you nothing but success, happiness, and prosperity.
